Faith Baptist Church is a dynamic body of believers who love the Lord Jesus Christ and his Word.
The church was formed in August, 2005, and is aligned with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia. We currently fellowship with approximately seventy-five members and meet in the West Mathews Civic Center located in Bohannon, Mathews County, Virginia.
We are extremely excited about the work God is doing in the lives of our members. He is convicting us to move forward in bold new ways to spread His word and love.
Our goal at Faith is to glorify God in all that we do. That goal is accomplished by every member caring about the lives of others, and serving them through their talents and spiritual gifts. The Faith family is delighted to have made your acquaintance in whatever way God's providence has brought it about. Our desire is that each person in the Mathews County area come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and to grow in their intimate walk with Him.
We have built our beliefs on the inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Our Spirit led worship services include inspiring music and powerful, relevant, biblically based preaching.
